Social dances in Russia require a qualitative leap, reaching a new level for further development and popularization.
There is a need to create an
all-Russian structure, that develops social dances in close cooperation with the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation.
Such a structure is the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Public Organization " All-Russian Federation of Social Dances "(hereinafter referred to as the"Federation").
The Federation was created to solve the following tasks:
- Popularization of social dances at the amateur and professional level
- Development of the children's and youth direction of social dances
- Compilation of the all-Russian rating of dancers, dance couples and groups
- Registration of social dancing as a sport
- Building the structure of competitions according to the principle: "school" - regional - all-Russian
- Holding Championships and Cups of Russia among amateurs and professionals under the auspices of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation
- Implementation of the mechanism for assigning sports categories and titles to dancers (candidate for master of Sports, master of sports, etc.)
